Pricing

NZ$27,250 / couple for 3 weeks

NZ$23,250 / single for 3 weeks

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at time of booking.

Balance is required 12 weeks before Tour starts. If you cancel the tour after this time there will be no refund (travel insurance is mandatory).

These prices are based on the exchange rate $1.00NZ = .55 Euro

(this is based on the 'sell rate' quoted by NZ trading banks at the end of March 2025). There may be an adjustment for this which will be charged on your final invoice at that time.

TERMS

Each room, with double or twin beds has its own ensuite/bathroom.

Pick-up: Avignon TGV Station

Drop-off: Bayeux Railway Station

Tour includes:

Pick-up and drop-off as above
Accommodation at 4 or 5 star level
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Entry to all museums, boat ride and wine tours etc.
Travel to and from accommodation each day
A complimentary glass of wine with  dinner
   
Tour does not include:
Airfare or Train to our Tour starting point and from our Tour finishing point
Travel insurance is mandatory, which covers travel cancellations and interruptions, medical and theft coverage. Cancellation fees apply regardless of the reason for a cancellation.

Cost of any extra charges such as telephone calls or mini-bar items from your room

Physical Fitness / Agility

We are neither mountain climbers nor speed walkers but we do walk 2 or 3 kilometres most days. Plus we get in and out of a van several times a day. If you feel you cannot cope with this level of exercise then these Tours may not be for you. Do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure.

Luggage:

All baggage and personal effects are at all times the responsibility of the traveller. Each person is strictly limited to one suitcase and one carry on due to the restricted luggage space in our minivan.  Please travel light and be certain that you are capable of handling your own luggage.

Children:

Due to the nature of our tours and the number of wineries visited, we prefer to keep the tours restricted to adults. 

​

Delays and Changes:

Whilst every effort has been made to plan a trip that will run smoothly, it is always possible that weather, strikes, traffic, restoration, or other factors beyond our control could make it necessary to alter our planned itinerary. In these circumstances, we will make every attempt to rearrange the schedule without cancelling any planned activities. If that is not possible, we will try to substitute similar events for any we have to miss.

Cancellations:

1. If for some reason we cancel your tour after you have paid you will be reimbursed in full. (We have never cancelled any tour)
    

2. When you pay the deposit you are committing to pay the full amount. Travel insurance and plane fares should be booked at this time. If you cancel for any reason after you have paid the deposit, you will be invoiced for 50% of the balance (as our customers book around a year ahead we can't guarantee to get replacements for you). If you cancel for any reason once the deposit and balance has been paid, no refund will be given. Your travel insurance should be used to recover this cost.
    

3. If we are unable to continue with a tour once it had started, we would arrange an equitable adjustment based on the circumstance at the time.
    

4. We cannot be responsible for delays to your travel prior to commencement of a tour.
